The quake epicenter was 184 km (114 miles) NE of TOKYO, Japan at a depth of 27 miles. Massive flooding is also occurring in Fukushima and Nigata provinces as a result of torrential rains hitting the area. Approximately 200,000 people have been forced to take shelter with 3,000 homes suffering flood conditions. Over 24 inches of rain has fallen in Fukushima prefecture alone in the last 72 hours.
The predictor of the Rapture supposedly occurring today, Harold Camping, said it would start with a massive earthquake in New Zealand at 6 PM East Coast time. Well that time has long passed, the dead have not risen and there are no reports of people being lifted into the heavens. But strangely enough, there was a decent sized quake (6.1) at 5:17 PM East Coast time in the Kermadec Islands off the New Zealand Coast. We’re not saying anything was starting (6.1 is large but not massive), but we have to admit it was an amazing coincidence.
